OBITUARY

IN LOVING MEMORY OF DAVID SCOTT MOWATT

David Scott Mowatt was born on May 23, 1966, in Redondo Beach, CA, and passed away on September 9, 2025, in Los Angeles, CA.

He is lovingly remembered by his siblings, Jeri, Kathy, James, Larry, and Barbara; his uncle, Gary; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, and grand-nephews.

David was greeted at Heaven's Gate by his siblings Craig Alan Mowatt and Lori Ann Donato; his parents Harold and Sandra Mowatt; and his grandparents, Gerald and Janice Kelly, and Eri and Catherine Mowatt, and nephew Nick Jr. Donato. 

David was the highest educated person in our entire family. David lost his life due to PLS.

Following the prayer service, the family kindly invites family and friends to join us for a “potluck-style” gathering in celebration of David’s life at Douglass Family Mortuary, located at 3363 E. Imperial Hwy, Lynwood, CA 90262. The potluck meal is provided by the Mowatt Family.
